Lumyst - Refund Policy

Effective For: All paid subscriptions of Lumyst PRO and TEAM plans
1. Overview
At Lumyst, we want you to be satisfied with your subscription. This refund policy explains when and how refunds are issued for our paid plans.
Refunds are based on your credit usage, not time-based. This ensures fairness — if you've heavily used the service, a refund wouldn't be appropriate.
2. Refund Eligibility
A. PRO Monthly Plan
- Full refund if you cancel with fewer than 96 credits used
- No refund if you have used 96 or more credits
The 96-credit threshold represents approximately what you could use on our Free tier.
B. PRO Yearly Plan
- Full refund if you cancel within the first 30 days AND have used fewer than 96 credits
- No refund after 30 days, regardless of usage
- No refund if you've used 96 or more credits, even within 30 days
C. TEAM Plan
TEAM plan cancellations require contacting our support team directly. We handle these on a case-by-case basis.

4. How Refunds Work
When you are eligible for a refund:
- Your subscription is cancelled immediately
- Access ends immediately upon cancellation
- The full subscription amount is refunded to your original payment method
- Refunds typically process within 5-10 business days
If you are not eligible for a refund, your subscription will be cancelled at the end of your current billing period. You can continue using Lumyst until then.
5. Understanding Credits
Credits are how we measure usage of AI-powered features in Lumyst:
- Main analysis, Code Tours, and Explanations consume credits
- Call Traces do not consume credits
You can check your credit usage in the Usage section of your account settings.
